Modules

FAA PAVEAIR consists of several core modules, each performing a specific function. Some of the modules are “Public” and can be accessed without a user account. The remaining modules are located in the Member Area and require a user account to access. In general, Public modules are for viewing and analyzing data, while Member Area modules are for administering and editing data.

Public Modules

Module Name	Description
Inventory	This module is used to view pavement inventories. This is a “read-only” module.
Work	This module is used to view pavement work history. This is a “read-only” module.
PCI	This module is used to display the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) of pavement sections. This is a “read-only” module.
Prediction Modeling	This module is used to group pavement sections into “Models” to generate a more accurate prediction curve.
Condition Analysis	This module is used to predict future pavement performance.
M&R	This module is used to generate Maintence and Rehabilitation (M&R) plans.
Reports	This module is used to generate reports on pavement inventories. Available reports include Branch List, Work History, Branch Condition, Section Condition, and Re-Inspection reports.
Maps	This module is used to graphically display PCI information on a shapefile.
Tools	This module is used to change between English and Metric units, set language preferences, display Distress Deduct curves, and export a database to XML.

Member Area Modules

Module Name	Description
Create Database	This module is used to create a new database (either blank or from a MicroPAVER e70/e65/e60/e50 file).
Manage Database	This module is used to delete a database, change between Public and Private access, and grant read-only access to additional users.
Inventory Update	This module is used to enter and edit pavement inventory.
Work Update	This module is used to record pavement work histories.
Update Inspection	This module is used to enter pavement inspection data from condition surveys.
Update User Defined Index	This module is used to define a user index based on PCI distresses.
Upload Shapefiles to Current DB	This module is used to import and assign a shapefile to a pavement network.
Map Assignment Tool	This module is used to assign pavement sections to pre-defined areas on a shapefile.
LCCA	This module is used to record LCCA information, run life-cycle cost analyses, and generate a pre-populated “AirCost” file.
