Table 4 lists severity levels for corner spalling. Corner spalling with an area of less than 65 cm² (10 in.2) from the crack to the corner on both sides should not be counted.

L – corner spalling severity is determined by the depth/size matrix in Table 4. Low severity corner spalls have depths less than 1 in. or are less than 12 x 12 in. with a depth up to 2 in. |

H – high severity spalls are larger than 12 x 12 in. with a depth greater than 2 in. |
